I had the pleasure of sitting down with the Oak Ridge Boys' tenor singer, Joe Bonsall, and his band mate Rex, to do some jamming before the Oak Ridge Boys show in Kalamazoo, Mi. on December 11, 2009. Take a look at this little jam session and notice all of the backup work I'm doing. Pay special attention to the times when I just chop. (I'm the banjo player on the left.)
In this course you'll learn some of the licks and tricks that you see me using in
this video. We take everything at a slow manageable pace and I made sure the information
is clear and easy to follow along with. The sound files with guitar and vocals help simulate
a real life jamming situation.
While we won't cover anything quite this advanced in this level 1 course, this course
will be good preparation for jumping in to the level 2 course that will be coming out at a
later date.
